After watching the Sox totally come dismantled against the Minnesota Twins and after watching Lou Piniella look suicidal after a recent Cubs loss to the Florida Marlins, we were struck by astartling realization:Both Chicago baseball teams suck right now. Both teams are mediocre at best. So can't Cubs fans and Sox fans get along? Can't we wallow in our mediocrity? It's after Memorial Day fellas so be proud and loud and wear your white shoes.

Stan can give me all the crap he wants, but I will wear my white shoes. They look stylish. They feel good. I feel like a rock star, dammit!!!!!! As far as I am concerned, if you don't like white shoes, that's your problem. Oh, and about that pink Cubs hat that Ed Silha put on my head. At least pink and white match. You will not rile me, Cubs fan. You will not get under my skin.

I also would like to take the time to wish my wife a very happy 3rd Wedding Anniversary (and Steve Dahl said it wouldn't last!). Though I must say I have been with Stan Lawrence longer. Peace out, kiddies.
