What on earth are we going to do? The Bears need a quarterback and they need one right now. Rex Grossman ain't the man, or is he? What else is Lovie "Rex Grossman is our quarterback" Smith going to do?

John Madden said something interesting during the Sunday night debacle against the Cowboys. He said that if you go with Brian Griese right now, it's nothing more than a bandaid. Griese isn't the future so the Bears need to just suck it up with Grossman with an eye on brining a top flight quarterback in here next year. Where the hell is Chris Leak? The Bears should have kept him around.

Stan thinks the Bears should give the job to Kyle Orton and see what he can do. Terry thinks they should start Rex against the Detroit Lions next Sunday and if he stinks up Motown, throw Griese in there. Bottom line: We shouldn't be surprised at what's going on because Grossman did it with mirrors last year. As for the Cubs, well, Cub fans, let's just wait and see how this plays out.
