Ready or not, Thanksgiving Day is damn near here. Sadly, the Stan and Terry Show will not be broadcasting from L. Woods Tap & Pine Lodge on Friday, 23 November 2007. Sorry if your post turkey day plans get screwed up because we forgot to delete it from the Upcoming Events section of our site.

Terry and LaNell are hosting Thanksgiving for Terry’s family at his new crib ((crib (krib) n. Negro-Pedia 1970’s 1. domicile, residence)). No word on whether he’s cooking the bird, but last year he fell in love with the deep fried turkeys he bought. So I guess smart money’s on another deep fried purchase. Stan’s engineering a solution for keeping his grill lit if there’s heavy precipitation on Thanksgiving morning.

In this time of Thanksgiving, we’re thankful for everyone who has sent us e-mail messages supporting of our show. Your support was seen in the Arbitron Ratings Trend for the month of October 2007. That’s right, our shows’ trend numbers went up. To use a sports cliché, “it’s not how you start, it’s how you finish.” And thanks to you, we finished our tenure with WCKG on a high note.
