Sleigh bells ring are you listening? Come on it's winter, this is the season for snow, sleet, slush, suicidal gray days and dry skin. Why the hell is it such a big deal that it's going to snow? Do we have nothing else to talk about? Chicagoans revel in their despair and it's a very unique cycle: sports, politics, weather - rewind and play again.
I think since I lived in LA for 6 years, where the above-mentioned cycle doesn't really exist, I got immune to the seasons and forgot about them. But here I am, back in the Midwest for four years and it's twenty-four coverage of the foot of snow that we're supposed to get tonight. Come on! Halloween came, we pigged out, Thanksgiving came - in 50 degrees weather, we pigged out, and now that December looms, there's a snow warning, so get ready for wet socks, slippery roads and pig out. You have months till you have to show some skin. Let it snow. I'm ready for it!
