Would You Want to Know?

I had a dream that an ex-boyfriend died. A week later there was a sudden death in his family. Oh, I missed a part of the story; I emailed him about my dream. Now two questions arise; should I have emailed this morbid dream and am I psychic? Two people have told me that they wouldn't want to know about the dream, and 3 people have said they would. Do I welcome this psychic ability or ignore it? Should I call John Edwards (the famous psychic, not the presidential hopeful) or try to get a job on his show? I used to see a psychic when I lived in LA, her name was Dolores. Every year when I visit my friends out there I make an appointment to see Delores, and oddly enough the first question she asks when she sees me on her porch is "Is this your first time here?" Nice. Sometimes she's right on about things; she predicted that I would get a job teaching (I teach Sunday School), that I'd play sports (I'm on a weekly softball team) but other times she's wrong (suggesting that I should keep the above mentioned boyfriend - nope) She never mentions sickness or death, but I never ask.

My dreams have been very detailed lately; it's almost exciting to go to sleep now. Delores says anyone can hear things, you just need to slow down and listen to the universe and you'll pick things up. But I do everything fast, I talk fast, I eat fast, I type fast and I drive fast (I just got a ticket for going 90mph on my recent road trip to Iowa) so I don't think slowing down to hear the universe is going to work for me. My ex was happy that I told him about the dream, but I'm not going to tell anyone else about death dreams because I don't want to be a downer and lose friends in my life. I'm not Patricia Arquette, I'm not a Medium, I have broad shoulders, I’m a large.
